Career Climb Scholarship Application
Application Deadlines: April 30 and August 30 (5:00 p.m. EST)
FHCA’s Career Climb Scholarship promotes advancement in non-nursing long term care careers for selected member nursing home and assisted living facility employees. Scholarships have supported individuals seeing to further their careers in the areas of physical therapy, long term care administration, certified dietary manager, for example.
Applicants should be employed in a FHCA member facility with a length of employment of at least six (6) months; be currently accepted in course of study (other than nursing) in an accredited school; and be willing to pledge that, upon successful completion of all coursework and any certifications which may be required for practice, will work as such in a FHCA member facility for at least one year.
This program was established through an initial grant from the Life Care Centers of America, and is funded by proceeds raised from the FHCA annual Golf Tournament.
